Artisan Heritage

For centuries, alpaca fiber has been revered in Peru, valued even above gold by the ancient Incas. The knowledge of spinning, weaving, and knitting has been passed down through generations, blending traditional techniques with modern design. Alpacas roam freely in the Andean highlands, grazing gently without damaging the land. Their fiber naturally comes in up to 28 shades, from deep charcoal to warm chestnut and pure white, making each creation uniquely beautiful.

Alpaca is softer than cashmere, warmer and stronger than lamb’s wool, and naturally insulating due to microscopic air pockets within the fiber. It is produced without harsh chemicals, making it a sustainable, earth‑friendly luxury.

Care Instructions

Hand wash cold with a mild detergent to preserve the softness and integrity of the alpaca fibers. Gently reshape while wet and lay flat to dry. Avoid wringing, bleach, and high heat to maintain the throw’s natural texture and longevity.
